Unless I am missing something, which is possible, there seems to be not much more to this article than what you posted. I clicked on it because I was curious about some things, but it was rather short.

So I am left wondering what lead to testing at least 12 times.

It sounds to me as if she wants an excuse not to go anywhere and also wants to whine about not going anywhere. “Poor me, I can’t go anywhere because I’ve tested positive. But credit me for being a good citizen and testing myself to make sure I should go out or not. But pity me because I can’t go out. Poor, poor pitiful good citizen me.”

So I am left wondering what lead led to testing at least 12 times.

Don't know about there in the States, but here in Germany, getting a positive test result - while initially an inconvenience (what with the mandatory quarantining and all) - did bestow, upon subsequent recovery, the (unvaxxed) individual enhanced rights, comparable to those of a vaxxed person, at least for three (or six) months.

Of course, in the case of this person, who had been repeatedly vaxxed anyway, I don't see any sense in this.

Regards,
