A square image that is less than 500 pixels on a side is the best for posting across various social media.

700 is good for desktop screens and laptops, but for cell phones 500 will all appear on the screen with nothing cut off.

Another good trick if you grab a big image is to add this little code to the HTML.

Take out < spaces > to make the code to live.

< img src=”URL” > Normal code will appear with the original size.

Below, I’ll show the same image both ways.

You don’t have to use height=500, any number will work.

You can also size it using width=X00

This way you can make multiple images all line up side by side or top down.
