How the Babe in a Manger Shows our Struggling Boys the Way

Four significant problems are plaguing boys as they seek to navigate the perilous journey to manhood:

They are unguided, ungrounded, unappreciated and, too often, uninspired. Boys in particular, lacking positive male role models, wonder what it means to be a man.

They are largely unguided in this effort, as 89% of elementary-level teachers are female, and nearly 21% of boys live in a home without a father present. While these moms are performing a herculean task as a single parent, there is no question that both boys and girls do much better in a home with two parents. While girls benefit from present and successful female role models that point them toward who they can be, boys lack these examples and are left to wonder, "Who can I be like?"

I wish Trail Life had more publicity. The problem is parents will not darken the doors of a good church.

It could also be that this organization like most evangelicals simply pushes mush instead of muscle. We need fewer ‘goood’ people and more people who are good shots and will have no qualms about rising to the challenge of a time when virtuous men will embrace doing ‘bad’ things for self preservation.

One interesting problem is soccer, and other sports with games and practices held Sunday mornings. Many families prioritize sports over church unfortunately.

More churches should offer Sat night alternative services I think. It might help.

Fully God and fully man, Jesus Christ came, not only to show us Who God is, but to show us who we can be.

If the Messiah believed the settled, "too big to fail" doctrines, he wouldn't be able to recognize himself. Then again, neither would the Dark Side. Everything for a reason in its time!

There's always a way to work around the lockstep, "Can't Do" blockades. They don't call 'em 'dreadmills' for nothing.

He'll show the way up and out.

The Christ-child Jesus came, not only to show us what God is like, but to show us what WE can be like – to show us what it looks like for the Spirit of God to be active in the body of a man. He came as "one of us," appearing in our image to show us how we are created in His. He models a purpose-filled identity that we can point to as an example of what it means to be a man.

THE finest example, ever. Where to find God's special work of art, the Magnum Opus Man who will show the way, into the light? 😎

Johnny Cash - Keep On the Sunny Side

(It's the simple meaning.)

Like Joseph, who was filled with the Spirit of God, Jesus is going to come as quite a shock. Epic establishment freak-out, as it is written. But the little ones will surely flock!

Can-DO:

Johnny had a great song about how to build a Temple in plain sight.

"You'll know it's me when I come through your town."

One Piece at a Time.

What model is it? It's a 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76...

("You no rush Michelangelo. You no rush Leonardo.")

The breakdown of the family has been in the works for a long, long time. Men abandon their families for the lusts of this world because they are insecure from childhood trauma. Vicious cycle that cones from their father’s abandoning them. In order to cope from emotional issues and insecurities , men focus their attention on women. They create a world unto themselves wear they are judge and jury, applying rules to them that they themselves don’t follow. This creates a false sense of power and control in their lives. As they spiral down the road of fantasies and masturbation, they become more narcissistic and emotionally disconnected from reality and their families. In the pursuit for the next fix and escape emotional pain, they destroy their families, marriage and their own lives.

We live in a culture that not only promotes disconnection from reality but also the evil delusion that this is healthy and what it means to be a man. The foundation of being a healthy individual is to learn to abstain from self gratification and self reliance and learn to be humble and submit to Christ, in all his ways. The destruction of men is one of the most horrific things to happen in humanity. The souls of men are being gathered by Satan and nobody cares because everyone else is too distracted or overcome by their own pain.

The biggest problem facing boys is an adult male population that is too pussy whipped to defend them against the most outrageous policies.

Men wouldn't even defend their sons against a school system that allowed girls to hit or kick them for any or no reason, and in fact sided with the school system against their own sons.

And when those boys grew up to be the police officers and judges who automatically sided with women against them regardless of who was at fault, who did they blame? Feminists.

Women are not well-equipped to be single parents, and the last 50 years have proven it. But government wants dads money, so kids are given to mom, the lesser earner, so they can make money off of child support processing and alimony.

Not always!, I was awarded full custody of my daughter and the court gave me full custody of the Mothers Son also, she got monitored visitation at my discretion. I did ruin the career of 2 lawyers in the Child Support division when they tried to Sue me for Child Support without ever checking the records which said I had full custody and control. The judge read them the riot act in open court

The vast majority are, as to be the rule. You know this. You are an exception. Exceptions are not the rule.
