The essence of narcissism combined with 'melanin-enhanced' privilege. Her kids get lost while she is supposed to be watching them, and then expects it to become everyone else's responsibility to find them immediately. Everything else must come to a screeching halt and all focus must be placed on her and the problem she caused by not doing her job and paying attention to her kids. It wasn't the airline employees who were responsible for her kids being lost.

This notion of immediately resorting to violence as a modality of conflict resolution seems to be more prevalent among a particular culture within the US, but we are not allowed to notice.

I was looking at this story on a local news site from Miami, and sadly, there were people commenting who actually agreed with this woman's insane, violent outburst and felt that she acted "appropriately". We are doomed as a society.

I read on the twitter thread that her kids were in the bathroom. Would have made a lot more sense to walk around calling their names, yes? Instead, she starts throwing heavy objects at people who might have been happy to help before she started acting crazy.

Now I guess they’re sitting in the police station with Mom.
