Thanks SW. I will check it out. I have read about it some and learned that there is no actual cure or med for them. It’s a personality disorder. They never take responsibility. You are always wrong, if they even let you talk. They are the smartest person in the room. Any disagreement with them leads to screaming tantrums, crying, some violence, etc. They ask your opinion but when you give it, you get screamed at for having a different opinion from theirs. I have seen her run the entire list. When none of that works, she immediately goes into poor pitiful me sweetness mode.
I have found that the best thing is to distance yourself from them and not engage. That’s what I’m doing here. I’m done. She’s 48 years old. Nothing happened when she was little. No trauma. I think she has the inherited version because her biological father was exactly the same.
I think the jabs may have pushed some on the edge of this diagnosis across the line.
