I hated the 400m- detested that event. Always psyched me out. Loved the 1500 though!!!
I don’t do much speed anymore. I’ll incorporate some Fartlek running on occasion- but that’s about it.
I did Fartlek while training for the USAF.
I far prefer speed work to any endurance work.
It’s also around where I naturally fit via genetics.
Right now I’m too big. (too muscle fat and I’ll lose some muscle)
Swimming was always cake for me.
When I qual’d for PJ Indoc, I was 6’2” 193.
Right now I’m around 215, but definitely stronger.
It shouldn’t be hard to lose though.
