I don’t disagree with you on your points in terms of making males more attractive than society perceives them. I agree that males can learn to punch above their weight, if they work on themselves to become the best that they can be.
However, where I cannot agree with you is that we aren’t in a society where you are going to be given the time to show your better qualities. If you don’t have the desired qualities upfront, you’re going to be cock-blocked before you have a chance to even say a word.
The situation only starts to equalize when both men and women are in their thirties. Men have the income and status and women come to realize that the best men were just using them and they should seek somebody more down to earth.

The way you beat that (let us say for example in a university setting) is you become the fun funny life of the party in the group setting.
That makes you socially acceptable even if you don’t meet the physical characteristics.
Women love leaders—and leaders come in all shapes and sizes.
In the chess club, for example, the chess club “leader” has a huge advantage over any competition, regardless of their height or other status.
In the war sense this is shaping the battlefield—using Sun Tzu tactics of retreating when the conditions are not right and attacking when the field is to your advantage.
In the old days many young men understood this—often learned it by osmosis in the military and could apply it in social settings.
And there's nothing that those guys - who worked hard through their 20s, while being dismissed / ignored / ridiculed by the same-age "party girls," but who have now gained social and financial status - want to do more than now "rescue" those aging, ploughed-through "party girls" and their offspring!
