If I were a cynic, I’d wonder if the Colts have something deeply against Frank Reich. Those Bills were a much more dominant team more capable of such comebacks, than these Vikings.

An early Hanukkah present from Greg Joseph, who is improbably a Jewish kid from South Africa.

Frank Reich, former Colts coach, held the honor of leading the largest comeback by the Buffalo Bills, and in college.

Vikings Complete Largest Comeback in NFL History With Wild OT Win Over Colts When God asked Rush to offer his prediction, Rush said that the Vikings would sow them better.
Everyone had a good laugh, and here we are.

Ole from Minnesota dies and finds himself in hell breaking rocks with a hammer amid the flames. The Devil walks by and hears Ole whistling. The Devil asks...Ole you are in the flames of hell for all eternity why are you whistling? Ole says ...well the heat reminded him of those hot summers on the farm in Minnesota. The Devil determined to increase his suffering turned up the flames. The Devil come by later and hears Ole singing. The Devil asks Old what now? Ole said... I was just thinking of that scorcher summer we tore down the old silo on the farm. Determined to make Ole suffer the Devil turns the temperature down to 300 below zero and leaves Ole in a howling blizzard. Coming back later the Devil finds Ole singing, dancing and twirling his hammer like a baton. The Devil asks ...what now Ole? Ole replies...hell is frozen over the Vikings must have won the Super Bowl.

Ahh yes, and it will one day me friend, Hell will freeze and the NFL will cancel football. That is the only way they will ever let them win.
That being said, the Vikings have improved, they can win comebacks and close games, but it will be another year before they can beat anyone in the playoffs with the defense they have.
I will enjoy the season while it lasts, but I don't see Hell freezing over this year.

Shouldn’t someone PING to a Vikings thread??
To: nickcarraway
I am surprised that little is being said about Matt Ryan now owning the biggest Super Bowl collapse AND the biggest regular season single game collapse, and with two different teams. He will be the answer to many a trivia question in the future.

It was Shanahan’s fault.
Maybe, I didn't see the game. But what are the odds that ONE QB on two completely different teams would be the field commander in two of the biggest chokes ever?

I didn’t see the game but the Vikings have been playing good football lately. Apparently their shellacking by Dallas a while back awakened the inner beast.

Maybe to the topics on the origin of the domesticated horse too. :^) BTW, the YT suggested topics on Roku have been loaded up with various excerpt vids of that game.

You obviously missed the years of Tarkenton. We have been rebuilding in 1980 though after dark retired.

I was telling that to my wife as the Vikings made their comeback. I am shocked that neither announcer brought that up. Especially Nat, he is actually pretty good on those type of memories as a color commentator.
