LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The body of a California Highway Patrol captain was found just days after a man was arrested in the shooting death of her husband in Kentucky, investigators said.
Julie V. Harding, 49, a commander with the highway patrol, was found dead Saturday at a home in Celina, Tennessee, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. A statement from TBI did not say how she died, but authorities believe no foul play was involved.
The only platform connecting data and doers with Everyday AI Dataiku | Sponsored Police have not said whether there is a connection between Julie Harding’s death and the fatal shooting of her husband, Michael Harding, who was living in Celina, Tennessee, and went missing in September.
Michael Harding’s body was found Sept. 26 in a home in Burkesville, Kentucky, near the Tennessee line. Michael Harding, 53, had been shot to death, according to Kentucky State Police.
An investigation by state troopers in Kentucky along with the FBI and Tennessee authorities led to the arrest of 60-year-old Thomas O’Donnell, of Napa, California, on Dec. 8. O’Donnell was charged with murder in Michael Harding’s death, Kentucky State Police said.

No foul play...
But looking for a linkage between the two deaths...
WTF???
Damned headline writer made it sound like she died in custody, after being arrested for killing her husband.
Po-lice folk are supposed to be law-abiding.
Maybe she planned her own suicide.
Sure sounds like the wife hired a hitman to off her husband.
Likely she committed suicide when the hitman was arrested.
Yup. She probably got the “lover” to murder her husband for her. Very common scenario, guy gets duped and does dirty work for woman.
After reading this mish mash I have one comment.........
Huh?
And it took TWO people to write it!
Idiots write the “news” these days. Headline told me that this woman died after she had been arrested for murdering her husband.
She’s apparently active duty HP in CA.
Her husband was living in Celina, TN but found dead in Burkesville, KY (about 22 miles apart) September 26
Man arrested in CA on December 8 for the murder
She is arrested (and released) for trespassing in a home in (somewhere) TN, apparently within a day or two of the man being arrested on 12/8.
Two days later she is found dead at a home in Celina, TN - no mention of whether it was the same home.
The genius reporters state the date of her husband being found dead, the date of the suspect’s arrest, but somehow miss stating the date of her death, yet she is the primary subject of the headline.
Great reporting.
The title ... sounds like the lady captain died after she was arrested.
Her body is in Nashville to be autopsied.
How in the world did the reporters remember to put that in the story?
