Assault detachments of PMC “Wagner” continue fighting in the east of Bakhmut. Ukrainian formations hold fortified areas in urban areas.
🔻On the Bakhmut (Artemovsky) sector, units of the 3rd battalion of the 28th brigade and 46th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to counterattack the Russian positions in Ozaryanovka.
The RF Armed Forces repulsed the attack, the forces of the 28th and 46th brigades retreated with losses. In one of the companies of the battalion of the 28th brigade, the number of killed and wounded exceeded 84 percent of the total force.
▪️Combined brigade artillery groups of the 28th and 53rd mechanized brigades are firing at the positions of the RF Armed Forces in Ozaryanovka and Kurdyumovka.
▪️In the third decade of December, the Ukrainian command intends to conduct a counteroffensive in the Bakhmut sector with the task of pushing the RF Armed Forces 10-15 km from the current front line.
To build up the grouping from the Kherson direction to the Udachnoye station, the 105th, 106th and 107th battalions of the 63rd SMB of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being transferred, and at least the 98th battalion of the 60th SMB arrived in Bakhmut.
▪️Ammunition and fuel and lubricants have been delivered to Chasov Yar. In Konstantinovka, the mobilized are being distributed among units in Bakhmut, Soledar and Ivanovsky.
🔻In the Soledar sector, the Wagnerites completed the cleansing of Yakovlevka, providing a springboard for the attack on Soledar.
🔻In the Lisichansky sector, units of the 81st SAembr are conducting positional battles on the western outskirts of Belogorovka. Grenade launchers and ammunition were deployed to the area of operations.
🔻Over the past weeks, separate units 24, 60, 63, 65, Smbr, 46 SAembr, 71 EBR, 128 Sgshbr and 112 troop troop units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been deployed to the combat area.
A significant reinforcement of the garrison is necessary to keep Bakhmut, the loss of which could seriously damage the image of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Its defense and glorification following the example of Mariupol is their top priority.
