Hamsters running a treadmill under the hood is the “greenest” energy source by far. You only have to stop once an a while to feed them. Of course you’re in trouble if they decide to stop running. Maybe a hamster-bot. And forget about speed...

Watch one of the brainless congress-non-persons come up with something like that if they haven’t already...

And how much energy is consumed in producing those sound waves?

(And no, I didn’t read the entire article. Since I’ve been here on FR for 10+ years, tradition dictates that I only have to read the title before commenting.)

I don’t even qualify my comments with stating that I didn’t read the article.
I also don’t need “/s” anymore.

Fine. What is the ERoEI of the entire process? Hint - it’s negative because H2 is not an energy source.

This would be great IF The Federal government let’s it happen. They have been against burning hydrogen as well.

Be careful of that bus photo. CA was using hyrdogen powered buses (mostly in LA) but it was an earlier hydrogen platform and the engines burn out. That is, they did a minimal change from diesel to hydrogen and it didn’t work. But building a hydrogen bus or car from scratch should be a green light.

By using high-frequency vibrations to “divide and conquer” individual water molecules during electrolysis, the team managed to split the water molecules to release 14 times more hydrogen compared with standard electrolysis techniques.

I heard it was 1,000,000 times more.
