The end result was, after victory, the Romans used the loot from Jerusalem to build the Colosseum, and renamed the city after Zeus. OTOH. by the end of the 2nd century, Jews were the largest single population in the Roman Empire, and the Emperor was proud of his Carthaginian roots. :^)
