Biden's New Authoritarians Prioritize Gender Transition over Religious Liberty

Refusing to respect the Constitution; the Church Amendment, which protects the conscience rights of doctors; or a 2016 court case brought by a religious hospital and more than 20,000 health care professionals, the Biden administration maintains it has sufficient authority to punish groups that don't perform gender "transition" surgery and abortions. Following a pathway blazed by President Obama's Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in 2016, rejecting conscience objections, the Biden administration breathed new life into the left's open season on religious hospitals and physicians.

Open season was initially closed because the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty stepped in to swiftly secure a preliminary injunction against the original rule in 2016. After all, the original HHS rule violated the Administrative Procedures Act and likely violated the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Confirming this analysis, on January 21, 2021, a district court ruled in favor of Catholic groups contesting the HHS rule. Hence, the transgender rule was blocked from taking effect. This decision was upheld on appeal to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals on December 10, 2022.

Additional litigation is possible because HHS refuses to take no for an answer. Despite numerous judicial rulings verifying that the federal government lacks the authority to punish objectors, the Biden administration, richly infused with the Authoritarian Personality, has declined to accept several court invitations to stop. Rather than take direction from courts, HHS maintains its policy by rewriting its old rule and then claiming that the new rule is consistent with judicial guidance. Instead of accepting any reduction in its power to compel private individuals and institutions to conform to regulations validating fluid forms of human identity and advancing abortion,

IMHO, more "end times" or at a minimum "collapse of empire" warning bells are ringing louder and louder. The official U.S. govt. policy of promoting child mutilation is about as loud a warning as we can get.

Before tsunami waves hit a coastline, there is a warning (to those who understand its meaning) called "suck back" when the ocean suddenly recedes. The deep ocean earthquake has already occurred, the tidal waves are coming, and nothing can stop them.

That's where we are now. We are being warned to "head to high ground."

The socio-economic tsunami waves are coming our way, and nothing can stop them. Our fundamentally insane society cannot self-correct from this point.

I can not shake this sense of dread. Two news items this week have terrified me, the unrestrained, open evil that is being promoted. First, Biden’s “Respect for Marriage Act” was accentuated by inviting a drag queen who has tweeted “kids are out to sing and “SUCK D”. Secondly, the photos of our military wearing uniforms along with dog bondage masks.

We are always decrying medias lack of reporting, I am far more concerned about our churches lack of interest. They have the real “bully pulpit”, every Sunday, the Pope has an audience of millions, where are they?

IMHO, we are in the unstoppable force (of evil) phase. Now is the time to move to safer (relatively) ground. Get as far away as possible from the blue hives, especially in blue states with Rat governors. Store up food. Figure out where your water comes from, and how secure it is. Does it depend on electrical pumping stations? Etc.

Tugs the same emotions I had as a kid watching the Indian cry in the Keep America Beautiful commercials, but this is 1,000 times 1,000 worse.

Since government (both local and federal) is the one mostly behind this indoctrination plan, and many churches are now complicit, the only one capable of mounting any sort of legitimate challenge in sizable scope is true-to-the-Bible churches. But there’s few of those left, and time is running out. Our punishment will be severe.
