Regardless of how silly it can be, I find much to enjoy about this Batman show with Adam West and Burt Ward. Julie Newmar is still the best Catwoman. After years of ownership disputes, the fans can watch these classics once again!

Holy bait-and-switch, Batman!
Traveling from Germany to our home in Southern California we got stranded in Dallas during the Great Airplane Strike. While waiting for a flight to LA, we saw Batman at a local theater on August 15, 1966. It was the real McCoy--"Pow!" "Biff!" and "Bang!" flashed on the screen during the fight scenes.
By the way, we got a flight home the next day on Delta Airlines, then a regional carrier serving mostly the South.
Camp aesthetics are wasted on most 8-year olds.
That is pretty tame compared to what is posted around here now.
While I am pretty sure there were some that suspected it to be true; yet, I wonder how popular the show would have been (in the 60’s) that the main characters were in real life—fudge packers.
Yes, for instance one time Robin was unable to come to Batman’s rescue with the batmobile because he didn’t have a driver’s license.

How can you say that? The series was awesome! Some of the best actors going were doing long term villain’s ...Ceasar Romero/Frank Gorshin/ Burgess Meredith. Campy and entertaining . Are you one of those greys anatomy types ?

You know, something I have always wondered about was Yvonne Craig, William Shatner, and Adam West. As you know, 1) Yvonne Craig was both Batgirl and Marta (the green Orion slave girl on Star Trek "Whom Gods Destroy"), and 2) William Shatner and Adam West were both the 'hot' men at the time. I've always wondered if there was some competition between them about which of them got to nail Yvonne, and whether either of them succeeded.

That was a good role too. I just looked on Wikipedia, and she’s still alive at 87. She was Miss America the year I was born.
