My doctor only got demanding after I started Medicare. She said she has to do the Wellness exam by Medicare, so I guess that’s why. I don’t think her heart is in it but her license is. When I had my last one six months ago, she gave me the words to remember, the time I had to draw on that stupid clock, and then left me alone with the answers. LOL
She will probably be relieved not to have to mess with me and Medicare demands if I go virtual.
The front desk lady did the household etc questions on a tablet; at the beginning, I asked if the link was secure (she didn’t reply).
The 3 items to remember and draw-the-hands-on-the- clock was done by the assistant medic; the Dr has the assistant doing most of the work (this started a little before the covid hit).
I thought the Welcome to Medicare was only done once.
They do the “remember 3 items and draw on the clock face” every —year—?
What if someone goes to a private pay Dr for routine stuff, and only occasionally to the Medicare Dr?
