Let's face it, these people sadly have mental issues that often manifest themselves in other ways.

As a Christian, I should feel sorry for and try to help them, but certainly not endorse their behavior. Whether they can change, I don't know. I've suspected for a long time that issues like this might be genetic, but nobody has the guts to do a study and see if they have an extra chromosome or something.

Lol. Wikipedia says

“They have a dual Master of Science degree in nuclear science and engineering (technology and policy program) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.” So apparently he’s not just some idiot they found, but an LGBTQ bonus hire.

Also notes he is the child of two Baptist missionaries who disapproved of his nascent homosexuality and sent him to conversion therapy. The description of his “therapy” sounds overly dramatic and implausible, but explains part of how he ended up the way he did. Those mean horrible Christians hobbled this little LGBTQ’er from the get-go.
