A Fox River Grove woman allegedly battered five different police officers while they were trying to arrest her during a traffic stop in Crystal Lake, court documents show.
Ellie G. Masukevich, 18, of Fox River Grove, was charged with five counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, two counts of driving under the influence, resisting a peace officer and possession of liquor by a minor.
Court records show officers stopped a 2006 Honda Pilot on westbound Route 14 at Pingree Road in Crystal Lake.
The officers stopped the vehicle around 7 p.m. Tuesday after noticing the Honda commit traffic violations.
Officers determined Masukevich was under the influence of alcohol and attempted to arrest her.
The woman resisted arrest by multiple officers and became combative despite being told to comply, the complaint said.
Masukevich bit two of the officers and spat on two officers, the complaint said.
Masukevich also grabbed an officer’s wrist multiple times and dug her fingernails into an officer’s hands and legs, the complaint added.
Officers also found Masukevich, who is only 18, in possession of alcoholic beverages, court records show.
In addition to her charges, Masukevich was cited for following too closely, improper turn signal, improper traffic lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and transporting alcohol by a driver.
McHenry County Judge Mark Gerhardt ordered Masukevich held on a $20,000 bond.
Masukevich has since been released from the McHenry County Jail after Judge David Gervais allowed her to be released on a personal recognizance bond.

The feisty Ms. Masukevich.
Karens gone wild.
To look at her, “I think liquor is the least of her problems.”
Feisty indeed.
“Dull, lifeless eyes...like a dolls eyes. And when they bite ya, they roll back.”
(Insert pic of John Belushi in Animal House here!)
Guilty!! Throw the book at her!!
18 years old.......this will likely follow her around for the rest of her life.
Most job applications nowadays include questions about misdemeanors as well as felonies.
My stomping grounds. I’m in that area almost everyday. Not a lot of problems normally...far northwest Chicago exurbs.
How in the wide wide world of sports do you get charged with TWO DUIs at the same time???
Now that’s talent!
“Crystal” Lake, huh? I see.
Somebody is going to marry her someday.

All that and she can bond out for $2,000 ......unbelievable
I can almost hear her; “I didn’t DO anything! I have no idea why they arrested me!”
Alcohol effects different people in different ways.
You get one, who after a few, he becomes the Sleepy Dwarf.
Another one, he empties just one bottle he’s Grumpy Dwarf.
The one over here, after a six pack, he’s Doc, wants to examine people.
America has got talent. This isn’t Crystal Lake Florida?? Odd? Sure read like a FL woman story. 😕
“All that and she can bond out for $2,000 ......unbelievable...”
After Jan. 1 no bond required in illannoy thanks to filthy democrat politicians.
Crystal Lake? She doesn’t look like Jason Voorhees to me.
I’d hazard guess that 75% of idiots in Florida aren’t native to the state.
Which I suspect makes many Florida man/woman stories inaccurate.
“She doesn’t look like Jason Voorhees to me”
No but she sure is emulating his behavior though that’s for sure........damn good thing she didn’t have a machete......sheesh
