What a tremendous Game! First OT Game!
It was a good game. I feel sorry for Navy ball carrier who fumbled on 1 yard line. It looked like he was taking it very hard.

As a Marine, I always root for Navy.
But at least Army became bowl-eligible with this win!

Best ending for sure. The game itself was rather ho-hum except for the final 5 mins and overtime
Refreshing to see a ball game where running dominates. The college/NFL “Air Raid” offenses where the running game takes a back seat is less fun to watch.
I’m guessing that’s not allowed about the CiC...

There have been seven ties in the history of the game. Except for playoffs, I think ties are appropriate in football when they occur in regulation.
If you like three completed passes for 53 yards COMBINED, if was a great game.

I agree. There’s lots of sports where you can watch people throw a ball around. I miss the physicality of run-oriented football.

They probably help prevent ties in the standings, which introduce stupid “tiebreaker” rules. 10-0-1 isn’t going to wind up requiring a tiebreaker (unless the OTHER team they tied is 10-0-1.)
... in which case, I believe the road team should get the “tiebreaker” in the standings.

Yes, I don't think this can be attributed to strong defense. Rather, this was generally a poorly played game, by two fairly undisciplined teams.
Did any of the scum from our White House show up to get booed?
No, but the Navy side was chanting “bullshit” after a penalty call.
I didn’t see all of it as I’m not a football fan but it was a good game and enjoyed what I saw.
