Nope.
It burns wood, or any other solid fuel but it burns cleaner and with less smoke.
Looks a lot like a smokeless fire pit.

Yep, that is exactly what it is. It takes advantage of what they call “Secondary Burn” of the gases after the first burn. Which is how a smokeless fire pit works.
