A man was zip-tied at gunpoint and set on fire by at least three people who stole his vehicle in Northern California, according to the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office.

The man called law enforcement around 10:55 p.m. on Wednesday night, telling deputies that his vehicle had been stolen in an area southwest of Yuba City, about 42 miles north of Sacramento, sheriff’s officials said.

Responding deputies found that the man had been assaulted and burned, and emergency personnel took him to a hospital, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

The man told deputies that he was driving in the area when he was flagged down by a woman standing near a black SUV on the side of the road.

After stopping to help, two men stepped out of the SUV. One of the men had what looked like a firearm and the other had a knife, the victim told deputies.

The two men then proceeded to zip-tie the victim’s legs, douse him in gasoline and set him on fire before taking his wallet and vehicle, sheriff’s officials said. The victim said he was able to extinguish the flames by rolling on the ground.

The perps were either Amish or Somali ImmiGRUNTS?

Jerk. The Amish reference is childish and displays stupidity… as does the tired and over used, “Let’s Go Brandon” reference.

I think there is more to the story than the vic reported. The torching is something annoyed drug trafficers do.

Yes, lets try Melanists instead or Hutterites.

Yes and no. The Amish thing got stale years ago. Let’s Go Brandon is still going strong, and it’s not really that offensive.

Well, maybe if the “Amish” would commit less crime this Amish bit would disappear. Will that happen? Not in our lifetimes. The only thing to do is to conceal carry, be well trained and practiced and don’t hesitate to use the acquired skills. If that offends you, I’m NOT sorry.

It makes sense to pick your battles and concentrate on things that really are annoying or offensive, rather than just things one doesn’t happen to like, but to each his own.

It would appear that the snowflake contingent has invaded Free Republic. Everyone be sure to remind this jerk whenever he says something we find offensive.

Thanks Joe.

Our local $ store had a cashier go missing few days ago.

Short, blonde, attractive, no car, walking home from work.

Stop with the monkey stupid amish jokes.

Agreed. It's a kind of gutless war being waged out there, and damned little of it is funny any more.

"A description more detailed than “a woman” and “two men” might be useful (if catching the perps was desired)."

But of course it is not. Law enforcement is no longer in the business of catching perps. Too inconvenient for the narrative.

Prayers for you and your missing aquaintance. That kind of sickness, weakness, that gutlessness...our hope is that enough of our friends and neighbors hold the line...in my area we are yet good to this day.

The scum who would carry out this manner of violent filth would likely not make it far in our little burg. There are meth robberies here, usually "boyfriends" stealing to get high, but things will change here too.

The last one I knew about personally was a fellow of a difference race, who pulled a knife---HIS DOING---a big knife, that is, and tried to show a little big city action...

The cops, young cops, had to pull the tough boy out of the gutter.

Our big influx homeless wear new shoes, new cloths, sometimes have new bikes, cell phones

and
don’t
speak
English.

The local homeless

(ALOT of people ended up on the streets cuz Covid unemployment. )

are banding together in makeshift camps for protection against them.

Crime is through the roof.

Thanks joe, DOS, DHS, WEF.

They set him on fire BEFORE taking his wallet? Another well-written article from today’s journalists.
