Math is hard......
5 Guys is expensive, but I’m smart enough to guesstimate the bill in my head before I order. The burgers are a little greasy for me - I usually get a hot dog and some fries. The fries are worth the price of admission, and they give you enough that you only need one order for 2 or 3 people.
There are no cheap burgers anymore in President Aqualung’s America, so may as well pay for a good one.
Well, that sucks. Maybe the guy can check on his bank balance on the way home and see if his latest stimulus check, housing allowance, grocery allotment, and health care subsidy have all been deposited yet. It is the 10th of the month you know! Then, he will be able to afford the meal at this “highway robbery” restaurant.
