We all know the score, but it's about the questions not being asked and the narrative being pushed by the authorities which are particularly troubling.

My thoughts:

1. If an infrastructure attack was to be prosecuted, how many people would it take to cause significant disruption on a very wide scale?

Clearly, with an open border the available manpower ability to disperse around the country has no obstacle.

2. Re #1, in a post-9/11 era, is there adequate public information available to facilitate such planning?

Even in the lack of such information, it wouldn't take much effort to map major power hubs.

3. Are such antagonists able to communicate to facilitate required coordination?

The antifa/blm riots proved that it was possible to both communicate and evade law enforcement detection. As well, the ongoing matter of leftist violence against pregnancy centers - as well as the 1/6 bombs - remain unresolved.

4. My problem: WHY would such antagonists openly attack minor infrastructure when such attacks would surely attract government attention and corresponding surveillance?

5. Are such attacks designed to redirect resources and, if so, what is the purpose of the distraction?

Such a distraction would serve many purposes, but the history of such attacks spans such a length of time that the nature of such a plot is unlikely.

6. Why would government FINALLY comment on an ongoing domestic terrorism investigation (vs. the mantra, "We don't comment on active investigations") by implicating 'domestic extremists'?

We all know the score here as well: When the government cites 'domestic extremists' they mean the right, NOT the left.

7. The details of such attacks (if we are to believe Homeland Security, "In recent attacks, criminal actors bypassed security fences by cutting the fence links, lighting nearby fires, shooting equipment from a distance or throwing objects over the fence and on to equipment," read the memo.') highlight 2 possibilities: A. Probing, B. Random efforts to cause minor - rather than major - damage.

8. Why did it take YEARS for these clearly-communicating, coordinated plot efforts to figure out that a small caliber rifle can take out power to a community?

Photos of the NC damage appear to be no larger caliber than 30-30.

Finally, my deepest thoughts:

9. Why do the pattern of damage attacks appear to keep focus on the vulnerability of the power grid, highlighting what my memory suggests is the first nationwide coverage of such attacks in NC without causing region-wide damage?

The pattern almost suggests an effort to hold utilities and the government accountable for hardening our grid infrastructure.

IMHO, the pattern of attacks do not fit the profile of terrorism, but the NC incident is certainly an escalation (if one believes it is part of the ongoing series of seemingly-random incidents spanning a number of years).

Thoughts?

They are trying to pin it in “right-wing extremists who are trying to stop drag shows.

The first narrative usually sticks regardless of the facts.

In recent days, we have seen significant sabotage on both the east and west coasts, and so it can’t just be one individual that is responsible.

The attacks were days apart. It could easily be mostly one individual.

It is possible it is a person who wants to highlight the vulnerability of the electric grid.

Someone has been attacking power plants all over the country, and federal authorities are trying to determine who it is.

Sounds like the next phase of the Fedsurrection to me.

Neither does gluing yourself to a museum floor, but those types don’t register high on the reasoning index.

Re: Item 3, "required coordination".

I submit no coordination is required given the number of like minded idiots available.

The only "coordination" is the lack of interest by the FBI.

“...what will you do?”

Not to be flip about this, but I will count on my emergency backup generator and automatic transfer switch to keep the lights, heat, TV, and oven going. And FR, too.

We live in a wooded area in North Idaho that gets regular outages with tree falls in storms. The area had a couple seven day outages before we moved here five years ago and I would not want to have to deal with that. So we bought the generator and ATS a year ago. It was expensive, but it sure provides great peace of mind.

We have the lowest power rates in the nation, but the power company is making the typical commitment to wind power, albeit in a small way. But I figure the trend even here is toward more and more power lunacy, causingour power to become less reliable over the years.

So I had two solid reasons to spend the money on the backup system — storms bringing down trees causing outages and Avista (utility) going woke and more green.

The generator runs on natural gas, so I’m good as long as Avista keeps the gas flowing. But natural gas is also under severe attack by the insane green mob. Who knows, maybe someday I’ll have to install a diesel or a propane tank and convert the generator off of natural gas. But, for now, I’m sitting pretty.

IMO such attacks are “pre-programming” to define the actors and narrative before more consequential outages are effected.

Unionized utility workers looking for some heavy overtime?

This attack is pretty easy to do, anybody with a decent rifle who can hit a dinner plate from 100 feet can shoot up transformers.

This is too easy—the Deep State has massive surveillance on everyone these days.

So—if they don’t catch the perps it is because they are protecting them.

Therefore—the Deep State must be a co-conspirator—before and/or during and/or after the attack.

You said ‘read the memo’. What memo?
Also, I have only see distant aerial photos of the 2 transformers hit in NC. If you have closer photos, please share.

I like to put a more detailed analysis on this from my vocational experience.

Thank you.

“The antifa/blm riots proved that it was possible to both communicate and evade law enforcement detection.”

It’s not too hard when you have the green light from law enforcement. It’s much harder when law enforcement is actively seeking to find and arrest you.
