This is why the Climate Change scam is so necessary: research having very little to do with it can get funding by linking itself tangentially.

In the 50's this Giant Mantis from at least 50 million years ago was unleashed.

Luckily it was wounded by a collision with an F86 and killed by gas when it took refuge in the Holland Tunnel

It took Paul Drake and Peter Gunn to stop it.

Greenland DNA Ping...

Thanks for posting.

I posted a much less detailed link on this story yesterday.

One issue that came up frequently in my Comments yesterday was a fairly high skepticism about Environmental DNA.

My link yesterday did not make clear that ancient eDNA is currently recovered only from permafrost soils.

Also, my link yesterday did not make clear the methodology for identifying individual ancient animals. They do not recover entire genomes of those animals. Instead, they compare dozens of ancient gene fragments to the well documented genomes of more modern animals and plants. When they find enough unique matching fragments, they can identify with high certainty that the gene fragments come from a specific plant or animal family.

Of course all of these learned scientists, our betters, you know - all of them presume everything changes as a steady rate and nothing catastrophic ever happens to change climate. Just ask the dinosaurs or the more recent Mega Fauna (mammoths etc).

“ . The climate in Greenland at the time varied between Arctic and temperate and was between 10-17°C warmer than Greenland is today”

But that’s supposed to mean the end of the world AOC said so 😱
