Prince Harry is saluting American forces.
On Tuesday, Pearl Harbor Day, the prince's Archewell Foundation posted previously unseen photos from Harry's surprise visit to Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii on Veterans Day. In the five photos, Harry, 38, saluted Navy personnel in formation, posed with servicemen and their families, toured a USS Missouri memorial wall, and shook hands with Admiral John Aquilino, commander of the U.S. Indo Pacific Command.

There is this guy on twitter that I am mesmerized by because of his voice. I think he could put me to sleep. He decodes the netflix trailer with terms I have never heard of before used in the industry

This photo is just more of their shenanigans.
Good question. And why did Harry stick his nose in our Pearl Harbor Day and expect to be treated like a visiting member of the working Royals? He has zero official standing in the UK. He does not represent the King. It must have awkward for the brass who had to deal with him.
If Prince William had visited, it would be a different story, as he would officially represent the Head of State, and as the British fought alongside us as allies in WWII, a visit from him honoring our servicemen and sacrifices would have made sense and been welcome.
And what’s with all these “surprise visits” he and his odious wife make, anyway? They’re always making these “surprise appearances” where they have not been invited.
He was a decent guy. Now his stupid actress wife keeps his balls in a jar.
Soon…he won’t even be a prince anymore. Charles will rip that title away from him as a Christmas present.
He was an actual officer in the UK Military and he has a Royal Title as well which under regulations entitles him to a fully military salute.
The visit was a month ago.
True
Maybe those guys are from Central Casting……
..after all, the Suckses, Suxxes, what ever their name….
are all about the photo op
The sailors don’t look very happy.
My stepson is on his first deployment and it’s at Pearl.
He’s on one of those funny boats that evidently has a problem deciding which side of the Air/Sea interface to operate on.
Nothwithstanding that Prince Harry is misrepresenting this moment...are you telling me that if any former officer of the UK military shows up to Pearl Harbor they are entitled to everyone standing like that and saluting?
I thought he wasn’t a prince anymore.
No, he will always be a Prince. Even if they take away the titles by Parliament he is still a prince. Can’t remember the details but something like Meghan will then be called Princess Henry.
Actually he’s sort of the male version of Kim Kardashian or Britney Spears, attention hogs who are running out the clock while they think they are interesting to other people.
As Officer No, I just pointed out his military service. As a member of the Royal Family, he has the honorary title of Flag Level Commanding Officer over the UK’s Military Forces. When was stationed in Japan Crown Prince (Former Emperor) Akihito use to visit my Carrier U.S.S. Independence CV-62 all the time and received full military honors each time, he came onboard.
Seems wrong
He was stripped of his military roles when he walked away from his country
The Markle team always shamelessly on the search for photo ops

They would if the King etc was in military uniform as it’s basic military courtesy to salute other foreign military in a formal setting. Unlikely though to see a Royal in uniform in the US.

However, Harry wouldn’t be allowed to salute in the UK unless he was in uniform (just as he wasn’t allowed to salute as he passed the Cenotaph during Elizabeth II’s funeral). He’s not American, not in uniform & not a working representative of the Royal Family.
He is not currently an officer, as all military rank was lost when he ceased being a working royal.
You saying we gotta salute every former UK military officer separated from service?
Please.
He used to fly out of El Centro with the US Navy. His pics are on the wall in the O Club so
Thanks (blush). So, what was he doing nothing in on our Veteran’s Day?
