My day starts at 3 and I’m retired.
Yes, I am semiretired myself. I have just been up and working by three every morning all my life.
I’ve been retired for over two years, and I still wake up between 3 and 4 every morning. When I was still working, my alarm was set for 4:30 but I was always awake before then.
Sometimes now I’ll read in bed for an hour or so and then sleep a bit more, but at least as often I’ll just get up.
In my 20s, I preferred to stay up until 3:00 or later, then sleep past 10:00. I liked evening shift then.
same here...i’m 78...but i do take a cat nap....which is getting purrrrrrty long lately.
My dad retired from the Army in 1963. My whole life he and my mom were up at 2:30 every morning and in bed by 7 at night. They drank at least a pot of coffee every hour during the day.
I’m up at 4 every morning but only drink to cups of coffee for the day.
I get my family up at 6. Those first 2 hours are my time away from them and any of their problems.
I’m up and it’s 1AM where I am.
