This is the problem with radiation-based therapies in general. Unfortunately, many families, including my own, have learned this the hard way.
This is great news.
Should this work as expected in human trials, it will open the door to other cancer treatments that will give hope to those Dx with this disease.

If the could come up with a screening tool for PC it would lead to earlier identification and curative treatment.
It is relatively painless…until it isn’t. By that time it’s usually in the liver. Once that happens your chances of living more than 5 years is in single percentage digits.
Right now the only curative process is surgery and some of the worst chemo cocktails you ca imagine.
Years ago I read a study about doctors inserting electrodes into livers and electrocuting tumors. It extended lives, and has subsequently disappeared.
