It’s PUBLIC LIBRARIES.
Yes they are...and they are publicly funded by our tax dollars.
Now if anyone wants cameron’s book at the library then they can partition to have it placed on the shelves. That also means the library can decline to have a “story hour” if they so choose. Just as they can refuse to have drag hour and so on.
If we start demanding certain books are either banned or included, for whatever reason, then just how far are we willing to go to control what people read?? Is “right thinking” very far behind..??
What would be your response hidd if lets say the Bible was banned..?? Lots of violence in it...not something children should be reading. It’s for the good of the children.
