It is actually a fairly simple case about reporting of benefits. If the benefits were not reported, there is a problem. If the benefits were reported, then not a problem.
The Jury basicly said that the organization did not follow the law with regards to reporting benefits to the IRS during the company tax filing. Those benefits are treated as income.
It is intentionally so, since its the most potent "lawfare" weapon wielded by the left.

So for 15 or so years I counted the W-2 form to avoid an audit. I've still got hats I've never worn at 71 yo. I always wondered if the supervisors had to count their fishing trips and hunting trips and pay taxes on the young women that accompanied the trips. They were allowed to drive company vehicles with company insurance,...just because. I never found out if my retirement dinner with 6 friends was charged to me or not. It was explained that the boss gets money allowed for retirement dinners in his company expensing.
These companies that worked for Trump were just found guilty for what everybody and their brother does every day with selective enforcement.
