Is it just me or does the country seem more divided not less? Both sides, right and left, appear to be taking a position, digging in their heels, accusation and finger pointing at an all time high. How long can this go on? How does it end?

I think the over emotional types are migrating to the extremes of both political parties now, not just to the left anymore. True intellectual types are leaving both parties and headed more towards the middle. With all the emotion charged up on each side, confilcts are more inevitable.
Hmmm. I only see those in power for both parties moving in one general direction. I don’t see much division at all at the top. What I do see is rhetoric, that they use to make people think there are two sides, when actually there is only one - the corporate globalist WEF side.

It ends in civil war. A house divided against itself cannot long stand.

Not well.
The country has been divided since the Globalists got their claws in it; what’s changed is they’ve thrown off their masks and stomped on them.
I think the silent majority now leans politically neutral or cynical. They are trying to get through life without being aware of, or skirting around, the politics.
So if it seems that there is just this noisy and incessant battle between the left and the right, I believe it is relatively few who are able or willing to man the battlelines.
The vast majority are keeping their heads down, their powder dry, and waiting for things to go back to normal if that is ever possible.
Sadly we have a large segment of society that doesn’t care what the truth is as long as they keep getting free stuff and are entertained.
It’s by design.

But what’s going on is that the people are starting to spot the false media narrative and are rebelling against it.
it seemed like it was calmer before, but they don’t like being questioned so it seems divisive

It’s probably best to avoid practically everyone and every thing.
