I’m not going to argue that families or friends can help in situations like you describe. But did you go public and tell the media what you found? That is my point. Keep quiet. Don’t blab evidence to the media.

My buddy had suspected that the two actors were confidential informants for the Keller, Texas PD and the ADA said she couldn’t comment when I asked her.

I believe that the detectives did not want to lose their CI’s.
