I’ve been closely following the developments.
One thing I can’t figure out. Assuming that we have the two girls upstairs and the BF/GF pair on the entry floor. Unless they BF/GF woke up and confronted the killer, why were they involved?
And if they were involved in whatever is behind this, why not kill them first? He would be the strongest one.
So either the killer decided to kill all four beforehand, or was forced to, due to being discovered. Which, of course is contrary to the statement that all were killed in their beds.
And on that point, it is odd that if the BF discovered the killer, that the killer didn’t flee afterwards. Instead, the GF was killed last... or so I assume.
How is the blood on the porch/doorstep explained?............
Or, the BF or GF was the target. Then though, you have no reason to involve the two girls upstairs. If they were awakened by a struggle below, they certainly would have alerted somebody.
Perhaps the killer killed the BF/GF on the second floor then realized neither was his actual target?

Supposedly the entry floor was floor 2, not floor 1. The killer killed the people on floor 2 and 3, and went back out the same way - on floor 2.
