Los Angeles County may soon reimpose indoor mask mandates as COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations continue to rise in the area.
During a press conference Thursday, LA County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer said the largest county in the United States had reached "medium" COVID-19 transmission levels and will require face coverings if it reaches the "high" category.
As of Dec. 1, Los Angeles County is averaging 2,490 new COVID-19 infections every day, the highest number recorded since Aug. 26, according to health department data.
Ferrer said the real count is likely much higher due to several people testing positive with at-home rapid tests and not reporting the results to health officials or due to people not testing at all.

I live just east of the Orange Curtain and will only cross over to LA County when it's absolutely necessary.
There’s always one... (at least)
:)
Hope not...Nevada seems to follow whatever california does enthusiastically like a lost puppy
Yeah. They do from time to time. I’m just not going to grace my presence in LA anymore.
I never go to Philly anymore.
Now that the FDA has said they never banned Ivermectin, let folks buy the pills and be better in 2 or 3 days.
Covid cases GONE
Emphasizing that I am not medically trained, please consider the following.
Is LA County mentioning anything about vitamin D3 dietary supplements to artificial lighting urbanites, especially since we're going into shorter daylight winter days?
Even in Sunny Southern California, Vitamin D Deficiencies Are Too Common (non-FR; 4.28.2015)
Here's some allegations concerning CV19 and experimental CV19 jabs.
Vitamin D - The Sunshine Vitamin (Non-FR)
I also share concern of many states about possible spread of CV19 by unvaccinated illegal aliens.
Finally, I still question if medical history might have turned out happier if vitamin D3 had been discovered before vaccines and "follow the unconstitutional federal money taxpayer dollars" experimental CV19 jabs were.
IMO, in definite need of replacement.
Yep. Pure insanity, and highly destructive. The city of Long Beach has said they will not go along with it. I expect other cities in the county to also say no.
LA County/OC/San Berdo/San Diego etc, are approaching 20+ million.
Live it up, Newsome voters!
Gotta keep the sheep 🐑🐑🐑 in line.
Now I admit, I DO wear one in cold 🥶🥶🥶 weather. Helps to keep me from getting a sore throat. Even just pumping my gas ⛽.
OC has become indistinguishable from LA County...Just imaginary lines separate them...Some people use to call the 605 freeway the great white fence...Now they say it's the 55 fwy. Everyone with money moved further south and now it's all merged together all the way to the Mexican border...That's why even on weekends, the 5 fwy is nearly bumper to bumper from OC to the Mexican border. All this happened some years ago. OC used to be the big Republican holdout. That all changed about 20+ years ago and it'll get worse.
Africa is only 6% vaccinated, and Covid has practically disappeared… Scientists “baffled”

I was on the thread. Between quinine, Ivermectin, a young and non obese population you get the discrepancy.
Our large elderly population, in conjunction with the morbidly obese and unhealthy people, is a huge problem.
WHY? MASKS DON’T WORK! Everybody knows this by now, don’t they?
Democrats
I don't use diesel so I don't really watch those prices, but they seem to be running around $5.75. For gasoline, Shell, Mobil, and Chevron all seem to be under $4.75 in my neck of he woods and Arco is running $4.29, although I saw a new Independent station at $4.19 yesterday and a couple of nearby Wal-Marts hit $3.99.
Interesting as a couple of months ago I paid over $6.00 at Arco for the first time ever.
Thank you for the reply.
Maybe now that they got a Republican Governor they'll stop that.
