It’s not really unexplained. Papers used to be a lot less concerned about privacy back in the day. When Len Bias collapsed because of a cocaine problem, you knew it the next day. But that was the go-go 80’s. Thanks to HIPAA, which passed in 1996, unauthorized disclosures are now punishable with prison sentences of up to 10 years.

Hipaa was the biggest scam ever perertrated upon the country..

There is no real privacy just a way to control and separate us.
