Is a Cuttlefish a schooling type of fish, inclined to follow a leader or are they more inclined to act independantly when present as a group?
I would think most small fish are inclined to travel, feed and react in formation, or as a ‘school’.
Cuttlefish are loners, IIRC.....................

Cuttlefish are solitary except when mating, or sometimes they group together for defense when migrating.

Exactly- you only need to tell a child once, and they figure it out on their own from there- so i’d say the cuttlefish aren’t as smart as a child- unless they figured it out after say just a few times?
