While cats are known for bringing unusual objects home, one ambitious kitty took the cake after dragging a — wait for it — whole alligator head into a house in Wisconsin.
Photos of the hairy headhunter’s ghoulish trophy are currently going viral as paw-struck viewers scratch their heads in disbelief.
“He was very proud of himself,” owner Wendy Wiesehuegel told Fox News of the “unexpected” discovery, which occurred Sunday in Waukesha county.

My brothers’ cat would often leave dead birds at the front door of his house. Like a strange ‘offering’ or something for my brother feeding the cat. LOL.

We had a cat that dragged in squirrels. I guess he/she/it assumed it was tasty.

Our cats leave offerings or bring things in to share with us. Most recently my husband found a dead rat by the front door. It’s the thought that counts, right?

I once had a cat who always brought her offerings in through the cat door alive and unharmed, carrying them like kittens in her mouth, then plopping at your feet. One time it was a big woodpecker. I had an interesting time getting it out of the kitchen and back outdoors.

On Thanksgiving, my niece came out and said there was hummingbird in the house. I tried to urge it out, but no dice. So I eventually had to take it in my hands and take it outside. Didn’t know that was possible.

Owlkitty is great. Have you seen the latest of Top Gun Maverick with a cat.

I see one that looks like that sometimes too.
it has never eaten what I have tried to give to she/her as tribute

Hummingbirds are very brave birds. I used to have a feeder without a perch and they would land n my fingers to feed.

We had a cat that dragged in squirrels.
My family and I went to Canada for a week. I got back early. We had a pet flap and a fenced in acreage. A neighbor girl filled the cat and dog dish daily, but when I got back I found that my kitty had dragged two full-sized adult rabbits into the basement. He obviously decided to get fresh take-out instead and let us have the leftovers. Good for my wife's garden at least, and the basement floor could be hosed down.

Our cat Shannon caught a hummingbird once. It flew in her mouth while she was meowing at the back door.
