Indeed, life is quite complicated. What an outsider might consider a bad choice might not have been available or known to some people. I find it much more gratifying to trust in God when it comes to the eternal judgement of others. As for myself, I am directed to love people, regardless of their sins.

I had adoptive parents who taught me values. I do NOT not care about Anne Heche. The statement is, if one does not listen to the Biblical voice of reason, then one gets what one deserves. There is nothing wrong with saying/writing that. There HAS to be an admonition/warning to people about doing wrong things like illicit drug use/alcohol use. I lost BOTH biological parents due to alcohol and am unrepentant about my criticism of the consumption of it. Never knew either one of them. Ran a brother-in-law off of my property for bringing beer to my house when all relatives have been told to not do that.

I lost my brother, father, and mother to their drug addictions. And they got what they deserved.

It is not nice to say that. But it is true. They were not victims of anyone or anything but their own stupid and selfish choices.

And I have no problem whatsoever with you saying what you said about Anne Heche because it is true. And more people should hold these fools to account for their actions instead of coddling and enabling them.

The media usually publishes stories when a media personality dies. They basically ignored her. I would have thought they could have had some compassion for her, but they didn’t. She was obviously unable to cope. A little compassion here wouldn’t hurt.

Her death was a result of poor life style choices. I wish she was not killed by such. She sure as hell did not deserve to be burned alive.

I did not know who Anne Heche was. I have absolutely no animosity towards her. It is just clear as a bell that she kept making bad decisions like many other people do and then expect different outcomes. Insanity.
