The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.

I am absolutely getting nowhere with this one. I’ve been hacking away at it for a half hour, and feel like an idiot. Give me a hint, is the author an actual name, or is it a word like Proverb or something?
HINT:
We don’t know who the author is, 😁
Author has no name.
Wow, none of these hints are helping me at all. Every once in a while I come across one that I just can’t make any headway on. I guess I’ll just have to wait until you post the answer tomorrow. Pictures of Snoopy don’t help me at all.

:)
We’ve all been there.
Hmmm. What’s a one word synonym for “Anonymous”. or “Author obscure”
and a 3 letter word for “a short daytime sleep”?
One more hint:
They say Albert Einstein would do this for 15 minutes a couple times a day.
Another clue, It's because we care...
the author is “UNKNOWN” That’s how I got it. I wasn’t making progress either, but the author is a familiar pattern.
Good luck!
