Florida man who went viral for wide neck in mugshot arrested again on stalking charge

A Florida man who went viral for a mugshot featuring his unusually large neck is behind bars again – this time on a stalking charge.
Charles McDowell, 35, of Pensacola, Florida, was booked into the Escambia County Jail Sunday on charges of aggravated stalking and withholding child support.
McDowell allegedly showed up at a woman's home on August 24 and sent her threatening text messages, according to local outlet WEAR-TV.
McDowell gained internet fame in 2018 when he was arrested on multiple drug charges. His mugshot went viral with hundreds of thousands of comments and shares due to his unusually large neck.
At the time, social media users left comments like: "Y'all leave this man alone! I bet he'd stick his neck out for you if you needed his help."
Another users joked: "You people should be ashamed of yourselves, all this neckativity isn’t right at all."

They don’t say how large his neck is! Such basic info, sheesh!
Anyhoo, I went into Big & Tall men’s store back in the early 90s and they told me I had the largest neck they’d ever seen. Mine was only 19” Their customers must’ve been a bunch of tall skinny cowboys, because I don’t don’t think a 19” neck is such a big deal to this day. The guy pictured in this article looks like he’s sporting a 20-22” neck or more.
Found out later that neck muscles respond to exercise very quickly and it can get you into trouble, making it difficult for you to breathe. AND it can take a long time for your neck muscles to decrease in size, if ever. Mine never have.
Anyhow, this fellow’s neck is awesome!
