It explains the “911 unconscious person” call, who it was that spoke to the cops, why the confusion about the murders. In the short time before before police arrived, there were several friends of the group who entered the house and contaminated the scene.

Richard Jewell was actually one of the lucky ones. Although they put him through hell at least proof that he was 100% innocent came out before he died.

I have been interested in this concept since I read "Ordeal by Innocence" as a teen. One of the throw away lines is about a (RL) mystery where there were four people singled out by the press who possibly could have done the murder (or suicide?) Possibly one of the four got away with murder but four people definitely had their lives taken away by suspicion.

A desire for justice is laudable. As long as you keep in mind that destroying the lives of the innocent in your pursuit is not justice.

One of the girls shared a dog with her ex-boyfriend. The dog was supposedly in the house when the murders occurred. It was not killed or injured in the attack. Why did it not alert to an intruder? Why did the dog not bark?, so to speak.
