In Missouri, you have to request an absentee ballot and have a damn good reason for needing one. If you do get one and end up going to vote in person instead, you better have that absentee ballot with you to turn it in to be destroyed, else you're not voting in person. County clerks are required to audit 3% of their precincts every year.
I listed 7 states in my prior post. I missed VT because it's brand new. Is anyone worried about VT turning blue? No, it's already solidly blue. Repub candidates in local/county races are just going to have to learn to fight it, play the game etc. Cali GOP learned and started harvesting ballots and also placed their own ballot collection boxes, including in churches. It's the reason we have the US House. 2018 taught them a lesson.
