*Continuing down the hall, texokie reached the Quiet Room. She was surprised to see that it was not dusty, nor were all the cubbies empty of the personal devotional materials of FReeQs they were designed to hold. Hers were still in one of the large suitcases she brought but she sat down anyway to give thought to the various memorials in here. *
*She noticed a new one. Someone had placed a display of the honored dead 13 who lost their lives in the debacle of our forces leaving Afghanistan early in the Biden administration. Seeking to not be overcome by the emotions that generated, and yet give due diligence, she wiped a tear, got up and went to the window to gaze at the lake. The kids were laughing and taking selfies and just being happy kids. Oh God, thank you for our military and the patriots who sacrifice for us and people like these children! Lord make us worthy of that sacrifice!*
*Startled, texokie realized there was a change. WildHighlander57 had mentioned “renovations,” but she hadn’t known what or where they were.*
*She entered a room slightly larger than the Quiet Room, and in fact was just off of the Quiet Room. The room was unfinished. She almost tripped over a paint can, and had to avoid tangling with the ladder. But she could see it would be a good room once finished - but didn’t know its purpose.*
*Returning to the Qommon area, she checked her watch. She was supposed to meet WildHighlander in a few minutes, and actually, she caught sight of his car in the driveway.*
*Texokie went out to greet WildHighlander57.*

PART FIVE
“Hi texokie! You got here OK!”
“Yo Wildy, I did indeed! “
“Do you have luggage? “
“LOL! Oh my yes!”
*Texokie opened the hatch to her SUV and displayed the 4 large suitcases.*
*WildHighlander57 looked at them and decided to go for the largest one first, the pink hard-shell case. He hefted it out of the back of the SUV and put it on the ground. *
“Texie, what the heck do you have in here? An Anvil????”
“Oh no. I left the Anvil at home!”
*Pause*
“Of course you did. What DO you have in here? “
“A new set of andirons for the fireplace. “
*WildHighlander57 looked at texokie with a long disbelieving I-can’t-believe-I-asked gaze. He then rolled his eyes and said*
“Of course it’s a new set. Well, let’s get ‘em inside.”
*Texokie admired the way Wildy used perfect body mechanics in hefting the heavy suitcase up the steps and into the house. Perfect body mechanics will help avoid hernias. WildHighlander57 is very wise that way.*
*They parked the pink suitcase next to the fireplace and he helped texokie place the new set of andirons into place.*
“Those actually look pretty good, texie. I didn’t realize we needed another set. I’ll take the old ones out to the Qarage. “
*While he was doing that, texokie went back out to the car and brought in two of the lighter-weight suitcases and took them to her room. WildHighlander57 brought in the last suitcase and brought it and the now considerably lighter weight pink suitcase to her room where texokie was unpacking.*
