Never refuse intelligent immigrants. It can only help standard of living for all. My problem is not all immigrants, my problem is low skilled, low wealth immigrants who load the wagon instead of pushing it. In USA, many small and big businesses were started by immigrants.

The problem is that in the past, immigrants sent their children to public schools which taught love of country, and gave instruction on what it meant to be a good citizen.

That is no longer the case.

Read my post #15. My friend came here legally and was an asset to this country, and it took him 26 years to get citizenship, while people who came here illegally got it a lot sooner.

I am trying to say our laws reward low skill, and law breaking immigrants. And it often makes it harder for valuable legal immigrants.

Most people don't know it, but there is a class of Visa called the O Visa, also called the genius Visa. They are unlimited. The classic example is if you have a Nobel Prize you can get an O Visa. I have seen immigration lawyers are too conservative on what qualifies. For example, a person with two PhDs. I think less than 1% of people in the world have one PhD. And the majority of worthless PhDs are in the U.S.
