Musk is a lot like Trump. I believe they both love America and want to make it better but most of the millionaires and billionaires who have used America’s free enterprise now want to be the ruling class but can’t stand free speech lest they ever be criticized.

I witnessed a “consewrvative” female Fox Business channel reporting questioning full and open “free speech” on Twitter, suggesting (I’ll paraphrase her words) “wasn’t that how the Nazis got power, that they were allowed to spew their antisemtism”. No one among her panel was able to challenge her assumtpion. If the Nazi’s were able to spew their antisemtism and get popular support for it, it was not due to government controlled speech that prevented it but due to mere lack of sufficient authentic opposition to it and then to government controlled speech under the Nazis that silenced that opposition. Setting up any form of speech as vorbten only sets up the idea that no, free speech itself cannot be allowed. Agreeing that “rules”, not free speech is O.K. condems all free speech to its death.
