COLUMBUS, Ohio — No Blake Corum, no problem for Michigan.
The third-ranked Wolverines uncorked their passing attack for the first time in months on Saturday and leaned on a career day from Donovan Edwards, knocking unbeaten Ohio State, 45-23, to claim the Big Ten East division title for a second straight year….

Here in NJ we have “Rutgers, THE State University of New Jersey”
In Pennsylvania, it is “THE Pennsylvania State University”.
That said, we should be happy that OSU football players who are starters on their respective NFL teams are having such fun with the simple word “THE”.

The Bucks could have walked along High Street if they won, but will instead need to walk the back alleys to keep out of the public eye due to the embarrassment of losing to TTUN.
Hell of a game. Michigan had no running game at all in the first half; but it sure as hell showed up in the second half!
OSU was stunned in the second half, and didn’t know what hit them. I think coach Ryan Day may be packing up a U-Haul.
Kudos to Harbaugh and the Wolverines.
“6, maybe 7.”
I’m thinking 5. If USC wins tonight against ND, it moves up; if it loses, it drops down. I don’t see OSU dropping more than three slots.
They didn’t lose to Michigan- they got annihilated!! At home!!! I think that plays handily with the committee.
Don’t forget LSU
Then again you could be correct- i am surprised the betting books presently have OSU with such high odds to be the 4th team in the playoffs.
ohio looked good in the early part of the game, and particularly in 1st quarter looked like they had Michigan not playing their own game and not responding well to Ohio’s.
But by third quater that notion was put to rest and Michigan increasingly dominated.
Ohio made a number of stupid unforced yardage losing errors while on offense, and the Michigan quarter back, and his offensive line was outpurforming the Ohio offense, by a good margin.
By 4th quarter Ohio seemed inept.
Too bad.
Otherwise, it was a really good game.
osu actually plays a decent team and they get it handed to them. LOL!!!
From the responses, it sounded bad.
yeah....to quote Sienfeld....that’s a shame.
Wayne State of Mich or Neb?
Damn that surprises me
Georgia will likely destroy whoever
Let’s just be honest
To quote Chrissie Hynde.....way to go Ohio
