I have no issue with the Bible.
I have lots of issues with human interpretations of the Bible.
Those interpretations are:
—All over the place
—Announced with fervor and determination
—Tend to lead to attacks on folks who have the slightest disagreement with even the most minor interpretations.
—Present a template that may or may not be helpful when it comes to UFOs—and we cannot know that until we know a lot more about the phenomenon itself.
Some UFO researchers have called both the religious and scientific viewpoints on the topic “flatland”—a refusal to accept data supporting the full complexity of the phenomenon
when that data fails to fall into existing thought templates.

That is true. I don't remember any of those events being declared as "bad" or demonic in the telling.
No they don't.
Who would go exploring on a thousand year one way certainly fatal mission and why?
Civilizations sufficiently advanced enough to create AI piloted Von Neumann probes. traveling at subliminal speeds. Robots can go into hibernation for a long time. They can be reactivated upon proximity to other stars/planets. They would know which systems to target just as we are discovering planets around other stars that are in the Goldilocks zone. And using either actual frozen DNA from the origin species, or simply having mapped it and able to reassemble it from whatever DNA exists on the target world, you can grow aliens in vats upon arrival to the new world.
A civilization that emerged a million years before ours could have populated half the galaxy by now.
Why? Because. Attempts to understand the psychology of a non-terrestrial species is an exercise in frustration.
Point is, they don't need to fly back and forth to Zeta Reticuli in little saucers. They may already be here, well established in safe underground bases - possibly for centuries - and doing whatever it is that the space bugs do.
No, they were contacts with our compassionate guardian Zoo keepers. When read metaphorically, from Genesis on it hints that we are Genetically Modified Organisms. And those who created us have been watching over us and contacting us since our beginning. But only when intervention is truly necessary to steer us to a future that has not come yet without changing that future.
Genesis 6:1 sure is avoided by all the clergy I have queried. Most who use the Bible to declare ETs as demon seem to do so through misinterpretation.

You are close, but still with the perspective of physical and in the same realm as us. And still with limitations based on our own limited knowledge. They have always been here since our time began. But not in our physical dimension. There is a parallel dimension or more that they have mastered beyond our own. They can jump between the dimensions at will and manipulate time and space as they do so. So location and time are not linear or static for these entities as it is for us. Same concept would be the perspective that along with our physical world everywhere are also the nonphysical dimensions of heaven and hell permeating everywhere simultaneously.
“26 And God said, Let US make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in HIS own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Is it US or HIS?
Oh, I did have that battle with the clergy as well.
I never said that they were ETs. I don't know what the phenomena is, but I'm absolutely sure that anybody who says they definitely do know is FOS.
And:

22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Why didn’t they/he create Eve just as easily as they/he did Adam? Because Eve was a genetically modified hybrid of them and Adam. Adam was a complicated hybrid to create. It took hundreds of thousands of years of trail and error to genetically modify apes into modern humans in stages to allow for natural genetic adaptation and survival of the fittest before each next stage. So to create Eve they instead used Adam’s DNA as a shortcut.
Sounds crazy right? But it rules out evolution because evolution cannot actually make sense as it is proposed. Yet it explains the reality of the very real early hominid species and hybridization that DID happen.
Of course it is all speculation... But at some point Occam’s Razor applies with certain concepts and perspectives. And the first step of understanding these entities is looking outside our own very limited and primitive understanding.
And when reading it metaphorically here is another perspective. Adam was the first “finished” product of this long genetic effort. So Eve had to be created from Adam. Eden was in the other dimension. These finished products were chosen to remain in that dimension to enjoy those powers and technology. The serpent was one of the other entity species in that dimension who shared the knowledge that our physical dimension existed. They were cast out from that dimension into our current physical dimension for collaborating with the serpent species.
So there are both good and bad entities and one is protecting us from the others, And from ourselves, and in turn also protecting their own interlaced dimension.
That is certainly feasible. At this point it seems best not to entrench on any dogma.
It is just a possible metaphoric relationship with the Bible and these entities. And it is extrapolation of course. But how would you explain photosynthesis to a three year old? You would have to use analogies and metaphors they might understand to explain something completely beyond their primitive mental capability and understanding. I think this is what the Bible is meant to do.
And when one studies the tradition and beliefs and faiths of other cultures they also hint at the same concept. Such as the Hindu and Buddhists believing in parallel dimensions for thousands of years now. The Hindu and other cultures even tell of a great battle in the sky between these advanced entities. Put all these together and many things start to make sense as a viable possibility. :)
