Regarding my above post it looks like the U.S. has followed through on their threat if Zelensky didn’t return to negotiations.

Our method of trying to control the dramatic, ignorant performer is always to threaten to disclose dirt to our complicit media as a pressure tactic.

Do you remember how when Zelensky got out of line and ordered the hit on Dugina our Deep State got so angry they leaked to the New York Times.

Apparently this time the threatened leak: “The director of the CIA did not come to Kyiv in vain, he handed Zelensky daddy with all the offshore accounts of the functionaries of the Office of the President and demanded to stop playing with Washington. William Burns warned Andriy Yermak that all data on the corruption schemes of the Big Construction / theft of humanitarian cargo / the development of Western aid will be transferred to the NABU and independent journalists.”

Now we will have to see who Zelensky is more afraid of...our CIA or the neo-nazi’s who have threatened to take him out if he capitulates.

Slavyangrad, [11/19/2022 5:30 AM]
🇷🇺Dmitry Medvedev:

The clumsy attempts to shift the blame for the bombardment of Poland to our country have not been accepted by anyone, not even the most inveterate Russophobes, the Poles. And this is an important symptom:

1. Everyone is sick and tired of the Kiev regime. Especially the neurotic Zelensky, who is constantly inflaming passions, whining, bawling, and extorting more and more handouts in money and arms. He behaves like a hysterical child with developmental problems.

2. The US, NATO, and the EU do not want an eventual break with Russia, which is fraught with the risk of World War III. Hence, there are more and more attempts to coddle and talk sense into Kiev and push it out of negotiations.

3. Zelensky does not need negotiations for quite obvious petty reasons. Moreover, they are very dangerous for him, as we have already said. After all, if he does not recognise the reality of Ukraine’s collapse, there is no point in sitting down at the table. But if he admits it, he will be killed by his own nationalists, who are in league with the army’s top brass. And whom he is frightened out of his wits. Zugzwang.

Bottom line Ukraine is being prepared for a massive offensive being launched by the Russians sometime over the next week or two weeks or three weeks once the ground is thoroughly frozen.

Do we stake any credibility on this prediction?

Should be in time for an updated map:

And if the US would come out and say….we’re done….NATO isn’t picking up then slack, that’s for sure. Without the US, NATO ceases to exist in its current form.

So, this thing would be over, quick and a lot of suffering could be avoided.

Putting all of that aside, the worst thing is that Zelensky would bail and probably live a very comfortable life somewhere, IMHO.

I was taken to task by somebody on FR only a few days ago for stating that Russia 450,000 troops or combat troops massed. Looks like my sources were behind the bean counting curve.

“Russia won’t be allowed to end the war, they’ll be forced to retaliate against their true opponent.”

So you mean Russia will be retaliating against Putin and his oligarchs?

Kazan “Col. MacGregor has been one of the voices of reason in this war.”

Really?

McGregor has been among the most failed commentators/propagandists in this conflict after you.

Here’s McGregor on 28th February 2022 https://www.newsweek.com/what-putin-wing-ex-colonel-douglas-macgregor-has-said-about-ukraine-war-1689802

“The battle in eastern Ukraine is really almost over, all of the Ukrainian troops there have been largely surrounded and cut off. You have a concentration down in the Southeast of 30 or 40,000 of them, and if they don’t surrender in the next 24 hours, I suspect Russia will ultimately annihilate them.”

He was wrong then and he is wrong now

Ukraine won in March by resisting the Russian attempt to capture Kyiv and force Ukraine into vassal status.

And McGregor was definitely wrong when he wrote on February 28th “The battle in eastern Ukraine is really almost over, all of the Ukrainian troops there have been largely surrounded and cut off. You have a concentration down in the Southeast of 30 or 40,000 of them, and if they don’t surrender in the next 24 hours, I suspect Russia will ultimately annihilate them.”

“ what he’s done is sacrifice what little credibility he has left.”

Couldn’t really go any lower on my end

He was one hell of a tank commander. I read his book “Warriors Rage’’.

I highly recommend it.

He is clearly nuts now. He believes he was mistreated and should have been a general. That made him full of bitterness and hatred toward the US.

When intelligent people turn into kooks they do so in spectacular fashion because their high intelligence allows them to rationalize their madness.

His track record here is being constantly and ridiculously wrong about everything.

Yes this line of thinking was parroted for months here and it was obvioulsy fake news. And not a one of them will admit it they were suckered into believing it.

Thank you. I’ll look for it.

In the Army I was in, he’s have advanced to at least 2 star, IMO. He was no ass kisser.

The current behavior of Col. McGregor makes me think that maybe he wasn’t mistreated.

He got angry about not being promoted to general and his reaction was to go and work for Russia Today as a propagandist spewing nonsense.

Might very well have been that enough people knew he hasn’t got it all together and should not be made a general because of that.

Good point. His wilingness to parrot complete nonsense for a buck points to some serious character issues.
