Just when you thought Jags and Rovers couldn’t get any worse..................
What could go wrong?
Everything.
What do Twitter and Meta employees know about making vehicles that leak oil?
There was a recent meme floating about, a McDonald’s help wanted ad directed at Twitter/Meta’s.
Brilliant - you will either be hiring people from the first layoffs, i.e. people who were deemed useless and redundant - or the people that didn’t get fired, but quit when the new boss said they would need to show up and work hard.
I would not even consider hiring anyone that worked at Twitter.
I’m confused…
How long until a vehicle is just a pod you sit in with a giant tablet that plays you a movie? I cannot recall the last time the power plant, drive train, or other specs were used to sell a car. Companies should build cars again, I have a feeling the first company to figure that will have a sales boom recession or not.
The Mercedes Benz EQS SUV is pretty much that now. It appears to be an mobile computer.
Precisely. What passes for a car person now is sickening.
How many Twitter content moderators does it take to build a car?
None.
What Jags and Rovers need more than anything are mechanics.
Rovers kind of became a popular thing for a while. I travel a lot for my job and I saw more Rovers broke down on the side of the road than any of make. I’ve been in them and they’re not comfortable at all. They’re mostly for someone wanting to look the part.
That jump from useless “who cares?” social media to mission critical safety systems software is like the jump from coal mining to coding.
Pay them to get into political arguments with car customers?
Awesome - great business plan!
43,000
Thats all we need is our new electric vehicles to be liberal and condescending too.
So, they’re going to finally hire employees who work as well as their cars do.
Mercedes Benz
And in another article thread, Mercedes Benz was 24th in a car ranking, out of 24…..
JLR will no longer exist by 2028 if they stick to the “all EV” plan. And you couldn’t pick a worse pool of employees than these sanctimonious wokes that ran their prior companies into the ground.
>> What do Twitter and Meta employees know about making vehicles that leak oil?
ROFL!
Maybe more than one might think, in a “big picture” sort of way. :-)
