Tell him that your friend meyer has had that procedure done twice. They put you under for the process. The worst part, by far, is the prep (cleaning out the system basically) and that isn’t as bad as it used to be.

But yeah, I understand the reluctance. And in the end (no pun intended), it’s his choice, as you said.

I had mine done when I was supposed to, in my 50’s. Nothing was found so when it came around again, I started on Cologuard. You can do it three times, three years apart. I’m due for my last one at 70 or 71.

The prep wasn’t the worst part for me. Not being allowed to eat for a day and a half was the worst part for me. I get really bad reflux and nausea if I am too empty for too long.

The actual procedure was a piece of cake.
