A 70's band that had a few hits, good song performed by the band 40 years after the song's release.

“Ballroom Blitz” was #1 for something like 8 weeks in the UK.
I bought the “Fox on the Run” 45, and the Desolation Boulevard LP.
That had an okay straight rock sound, but it doesn’t wear well on repeated plays.

I bought and loved Desolation Boulevard back in like ‘86. At the time I thought it was just the greatest. Lol.

To: DallasBiff
“Co-Co” and “Little Willie” are under-looked songs from this band.

I absolutely LOVE ELO! I could listen to ‘Showdown’ 100x in a row and never tire of it. :)

Sweet definitely had an ELO-like sound, at least in a background-vocal sense.
