When the measles outbreak was first reported last week, only four confirmed cases had been identified in one child-care facility, which temporarily closed – but the number of cases and facilities involved has grown.
As of Friday morning, Columbus Public Health officials updated their investigation to include 19 confirmed cases, and more suspected, at 10 daycare centers and two schools.
“All cases are in unvaccinated children, and all but one are less than 4 years old. One child is 6 years old,” Newman said.
Health officials with Columbus Public Health and Franklin County Public Health have been investigating these cases and tracing any contacts who may have been exposed to the measles virus.
Officials at Columbus Public Health are encouraging parents to make sure their children are up to date on their immunizations, including the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine, known as the MMR vaccine.

They will probably try to give them more Covid boosters.
Our southern invaders. Anyone who puts their children in public achools is an abuser.
The CDC is NOT your friend.
Eschew them.
They are of no furthur use.
This is only the beginning. Thank you open Southern Border.
Help from the CDC? The Cabal for the Distribution of Contagions???
Mask em up! /s
Never know. Could be in Little Somalia. Different invaders. Or from the southern border. Who knows?
Probably illegals.
Health problems? The last place to go to for help is the CDC.
May as well tell Fauci, “I trust you completely and place my life in your hands.”🤪
Oddly/s. I’ve had measles, mumps, chickenpox, Covid, and the flu. I got through all of them and never had a vaccine for any of them. The first three went through my grade school when I was a kid. (The normal stuck at home two weeks indoors) damn near drove my mother insane. Covid was a horse paste, D, C, Zinc and Quercetin thing. Our younger people have no natural immunity and the China virus was a gift. With open borders, we ain’t seen nothing yet. IMO.
in the 50’s they had pox and mumps parties..https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pox_party
I had the chicken pox, mumps, colds, flu, and high fevers. If you’re Gen X or older, you have a grandparent/great parent, who may have lost my have one or two children to childhood diseases. Back then, only the strongest survived. Now they are trying to make everything from a mask to then walking around in a bubble or a dystopian numbered areas with distance to control and weaken the human race except for themselves.
It’s what you get when parents refuse to vaccinate their children
I hope the cases aren’t very severe
Yes it was a big deal. A severe case can cause blindness and loss of hearing. In some younger children it can be fatal
People should educate themselves
“If you’re Gen X or older, you have a grandparent/great parent, who may have lost my have one or two children to childhood diseases. Back then, only the strongest survived..”
Sir, yes sir. Dead children are good thing. Us tough guys got to stick together, screw them weak kids who can’t survive a virus or two.
Yes, ma’am if you say so.
Which booster are you on jack ?
None
We’re talking childhood diseases which can harm our children. Had a friend in grade school who lost their hearing from measles (before any vaccine)
May you never see a polio ward
